SAFE TO FLY
Heron Jacket dates from the 1960s. It has been used for the purpose of saving lives and protecting from drowning at sea. Designed with inflatable shoulders assured floating above water and with its front harness at chest the wearer would hook a belt on the harness after falling on water where the crew would pull you in the boat this way saving your life. I tried to reinterpret the jacket on a modern urban attitude.
Reinterpreted the Heron jacket and offered a new purpose, a different understanding by offering mobility through pockets and comfort through an altered innovative approach. Instead of life vest - offering an inflatable neck pillow articulated to the streams of body muscles preventing whiplash.
Inserted memory foam panels at hood for noise reduction and flat pillow pads also play a part for comfort which also serves for anti impact.
The fabric is stretch and smooth on the outer with DWR finish and Waterproof with stretch seams and the inner fabric is a laminated micro fleece.
We are accustomed to rapid passage through the sky by ever increasing speeds of transportation with garments that promote comfort and manoeuvrability. This garment presents luxury meeting with function.
Micro fleece - POLYPROPYLENE

Also know as "warm fibre" thanks to the pleasant sensation of well-being, the warm and dry feeling it offers, polypropylene is the best polymer for protection against humidity and is a tough natural barrier against cold.

Hollow polypropylene is also extremely light, water repellent, bacteria-proof and guarantees a high level of comfort and hygienic protection when in contact with the skin.

Transfers perspiration away from the skin.

Dimensional Stability - fabric will maintain the same shape and have 100% recovery mediately after stretch. Cold-black - finishing which reduces absorption of heat rays in dark colours.

LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™ fibre are designed to guarantee a much higher resistance to damaging effects caused by external agents such as heat, chlorine and sunscreens.

Elastic memory which keeps it from curling at the edges it is ideal even for raw cut.
